We have yet to experience the impact of Dave's loss at Phenix Baptist Church. Certainly a tireless leader in our church. The number of people expected at the services will bear witness to how many lives he has touched. The wonderful family Dave and Kay have raised bearwitness to what dedicated and loving parents they are. God has blessed us all with his life.

My uncle David was a wonderful gift from God. I loved him very much and will miss him for the rest of my life. He was very loving and kind. He accepted me for me and never tried to change me. He gave me so many gifts and shared his life with everyone he touched. He always helped out those in need. He gave great hugs and always had a kind word. I love you, Uncle David and I know that you are now with God.

To the Blane Family,

May the memories of all the wonderful times you have had with Dave help you through this most difficult time. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. God Bless

Dave had just hired me to work in his restaurant because he knew that I had been out of work for quite awhile and needed some cash flow. That was what Dave was all about. Kindness, generosity, and always helping others. He was known for helping young teens get started on their working career when they couldn't find work anywhere else. I am filled with sadness at his passing, but also with joy for him that he is with his Lord and Savior now. I'm sure God just opened a Mr. Taco's Que Pasa! in heaven just for Dave to manage. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

My prayers go out to his family that they can seek strength and courage from God to bear the sorrow that fills their world right now.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13.
