Stu and Jackie,
please accept my condolence upon the passing of your dad. I have the fondest memories of spending time with him when I was a young child. I can remember him taking Stu and me fishing and boating at Watermans Lake. When I was quite small he would let all the kids in the neighborhood sit on his lap and “drive” his car up and down the driveway. It was a big thrill for a young kid. I knew he was a veteran and had received a Purple Heart, but did not know he was with the 29ID and landed at Normandy. He never spoke of it. It’s very strange that I was thinking about your dad 2 weeks ago and talked to my sister about him. I did attended his funeral on Zoom.
Best Regards.

Dave and his family were our next door neighbors many years ago in Cranston. My brother Louie and I grew up with Stuey and Jackie..playing fort..Cowboys and Indians or what have you...under the watchful eyes of our parents with Dave working on the boat he was building in his garage...I don't think he ever finished it..but it was fun watching him try..you couldn't ask for a nicer guy or better neighbor.RIP, David Ira Cohen

To Dave's Family,
Heartfelt condolences from The Santucci Family. Dave was like an Uncle to me and a True Gentleman in every way. Service to Country, family, Scouting, and making wonderful friends with everyone he would meet is my recollection that I will cherish forever. My prayers to your Family.
