David Desilva Obituary

DESILVA, DAVID E., 49, of Moosup Valley Rd. died Monday, May 21, 2007. He was the husband of Allison K. (Strutton) DeSilva

Born in Warwick, he was the son of Edward DeSilva and his wife Diane of Berkley, MA. and Claudette (Cartier) Crohan and her husband David of Lake Worth, FL.

David, for many years, owned & operated D.E.E. Construction Co. He enjoyed boating, fishing and motorcycling.

He was the father of Matthew E. DeSilva and Deidre A. DeSilva both of West Warwick. He was the brother of Joel DeSilva, Audrey Troll, Claudia Pearson, Carla Thurston, and Denys Russo. He was the son-in-law of Kenneth Strutton and the late Phyllis (Aronson) Strutton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be Friday evening at 7:30 pm in the Robert A. Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rt.117), Coventry. Visiting hours Friday 5-7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Make-A-Wish, 757 Park Ave., Cranston, RI 02910 will be appreciated.
