David Hart Obituary
Born in Providence, a son of Alverda G. and Adele (Perry) Hart of North Scituate. He was a former resident of West Warwick for 45 years.
David was a cabinet maker for many years and the owner of the former Harts Ace Hardware Store in Coventry before retiring to FL. Also, he was a constable and a special officer with the West Warwick Police Department.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a fire control specialist on the Pershing Missile. While serving in Germany he took courses with the Armed Forces Institute of Europe in Architectural Drafting. He enjoyed guitar playing, golfing, camping, traveling and cars.
Besides his parents he leaves a brother, Leslie J. Hart of West Warwick. He was the brother of the late Sgt. Brian W. Hart, WWPD (Ret.).
His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am in the HENAULT GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. Interment will follow with military honors in the Colvin Family Cemetery, Hope. Visiting hours Thursday morning prior to the service 9:30-11.
