David Horton Obituary

HORTON, DAVID G., 75, a resident of Rehoboth, died on Dec. 30th. He was the husband of Eleanor (Case) Horton. Born in Providence, son of the late Benjamin C. and Eleanor (Wood) Horton, he had lived in Rehoboth most of his life. Mr. Horton had participated in the family business, the former Horton Brothers Dairy in East Providence.

Besides his wife, he leaves daughters, Mary Beth Bell, Diane Horton and Jessica Burt; grandchildren, Shawn and Krystal Bell and Sarah Burt; a brother, Benjamin Horton and a sister, Vesta Kent.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, 1/3, at 11:00 AM in the Rehoboth Congregational Church, Bay State Rd., Rehoboth. Calling hours are Wednesday 5-8 PM in the J.H. WILLIAMS & CO FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Ceiling Fund, c/o the Rehoboth Congregational Church, P.O. Box 325, Rehoboth, MA 02769.
