Dear Mrs. Degrass and family,
I would like to extend my sincere sympathies on your loss of such a kind and friendly man. I was a student in high school at Narragansett with Mr. Degrass and have enjoyable memories of his classes, conversations and many laughs shared. He was someone who students felt comfortable talking to and knew he was a trusted person. God Bless you in this difficult time and may you find comfort in your wonderful memories shared together.

We only knew Dennis a short time, but he made us feel like life-long friends. Dennis opened his heart and home to us. The first time we met in Naples, we found ourselves dancing like teenagers in the living room @ 1:00 a.m. with the music blasting. Dennis was never at a loss for words, as we joked and tried to “1-up” each other with stories in his “man” lounge. Whether swimming, fishing or just shooting the breeze on the beach, it was truly our pleasure to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Louise and his family.

My deepest regrets to you and your family. I always considered Dennis a true friend even when I had to discontinue my carreer in real estate. He was a true friend to all and found the good in everyone. He will be missed by many including me. I know his family was his life and I hope you all find comfort in that. Louise and the entire DeGrass family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers through this tough time. Dennis was truly a one of a kind person, and he will be missed, but his memories will live on through his loving family, and friends. My only regret was that I did not get to meet him sooner, but I am truly blessed to have known him, and to have you all in my extended family

I consider it a privilege to have had a business relationship with Dennis that included both personal attention and professional integrity. The warmth of his smile, the twinkle in his eyes, warmed my day. Top-down and blue-skies ahead for you Dennis...

Dennis was my english teacher at LaSalle for the 1976-77 school year. He was a real nice person. It was during that school year he directed the school's production of Man Of La Mancha. It was considered one of the finest productions staged by the LaSalle Drama Club.

I met Dennis through my brother,Gib. He was always so friendly and fun-loving. Although we only had seen each other a few times he was a person you could not forget. I recently ran into him and he came up and said hi and asked how I was doing. He had remembered me after all these years--a tribute to the kind of man he was. My prayers go out to the family.
