Donald Izzo

IZZO, DONALD C., SR. 68, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Catherine Brown-Izzo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Mario D. and Antonetta "Etta" (Cambio) Izzo. Donald was a security guard at Foxwood Resort Casino for the Mashentucket Pequot Tribe for 17 years. Previously, Donald was the owner of Izzo's Landscaping and a retiree of General Electric. He was a Master Gunnery Sgt. 2nd Marine Airwing from 1964 to 1969; and was a graduate of the University of RI with a degree in Agronomy. Besides his wife Catherine, he was the father of Nitasha Garcia and William Brown; brother of Ronald M. Izzo, Sr. and his wife Sylvia, Alan A. Izzo, Sr. and David A. Izzo, Sr. and his wife Annmarie; and also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 31st at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
