Donald Labbe Obituary

LABBE, DONALD E.
81, of Bristol, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017, at the Rhode Island Veterans Home.
Born in Lewiston, Maine, he was a son of the late Antonio and Claire (Levesque) Labbe.
Donald was an Engineer at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center for thirty years retiring in 1990. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of the Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
He leaves a son, Dr. Donald R. Labbe and his wife Melissa; three daughters, Janice Horton and her husband John, Ann Labbe and Lynn Gargano and her husband Domenic; a brother, Raymond Labbe; eleven loving grandchildren and a great grandson. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Labbe.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. The funeral service will begin at noon. Burial will be private in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery. For on-line condolences, visit boyleandsonfuneralhome.com
