HENRION, DOROTHY 'DOT' ANGELA
Dorothy 'Dot'Angela Henrion, age 89 passed away peacefully at Haven Hospice, Lake City, FL on Tuesday, November 7th.
Born in White Plains, New York, Dorothy graduated from All Saints Girls Academy in New York City. After graduation, Dorothy started working in banking as a teller and worked her way up to Vice President. Dorothy retired from banking and moved to Fort White, Florida. Dorothy was a member of St. Madeleine Catholic Church in High Springs, Fl volunteering in the office for many years as a counter, was a cantor and choir member for many years with the church. Dorothy was an avid roller skater in her younger years, performing in many shows and continued roller skating for enjoyment for many years.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Vivian Henrion, sisters Frances Foraker, Joan Power and Gwendolyn Roman. She is survived by her niece Sharon McNesby (Joseph) of Newark, DE, nephews Kent Power of Rio Vista, CA and Randy Power (Lynn) of Brewster, NY, many great nieces and nephews and her neighbors Steve and Terri Ellis.
The family would like to thank her many friends for their support and prayers including Steve and Terri Ellis, as well as St. Madeleine and San Juan staff and parish members. In addition, the family would like to thank the staff of Haven Hospice for their care and support in her final hours.
Mass of the Christian burial will be held Thursday, November 9th at 10:30 AM at St. Madeleine Catholic Church, 17155 NW US Hwy 441, High Springs, FL 32641. Visitation will be held one hour prior to mass. The interment will be held following the mass at St. Madeline Cemetery.
