I just found out about an hour ago through Myspace. I had been good friends with Dylan way back in 8th grade, but we sort of drifted apart after that. We had just re-established contact about a month ago online... and now he's gone. He had to have been the nicest person I have ever met.

You were not supposed to change the storyline Dylan. Anya was not supposed to live longer then Xander. Nobody has ever been so in sync with me as you were--who else would sit up all nite with me and watch OMWF frame by frame because all the lines HAD to be written? Who else would whip out the "nerd notes" to find the quote we KNEW we had in there that fit the situation perfectly? We only had to look at one another to know we were thinking exactly the same thought. I see you in everything I do and everywhere I am is filled with memories of spending time with you and the other "Misfits." As both Buffy and Dawn truthfully state: "The hardest thing in this world is to live in it" but I will try to do what I know you would want me to do---live.

I knew Dylan through his work at the group home where my cousin Mark lives. Dylan was very kind and helpful to us when my aunt died. It was a great comfort to know that Mark was being cared for by someone who was so genuine and caring. My condolences to the family for your great loss.

My condolences goes out to the family that I'v known for many years. Even though I only met dylan once, he seemed like a great kid. My neice had worked with him at patriot cinemas and she said he was the coolest person to work with, he was funny, generous , and good hearted. Im sure he will be greatly missed.

When I heard this sad news i was in shock. I then began to think of the last time i seen him. It was at my job and I ran up to him and hugged him. I never hugged him before but something came over me to do it. Now I am so glad I did. He will be greatly missed by many. Sorry to all family members and close friends.

I love you, Dylan. I miss you so much.

About a week before he died, he came over to our apartment to see us. When I got home from work, he gave me a big hug and held on. He said he was so comfortable that he never wanted to move, so we hugged for few more seconds. That night, we laughed, and had a great time. It was a great final memory; I just wish it wasn't so...final.

I knew Dylan from when he worked at Patriot Cinema with Brian, and I used to give him a ride home when he needed one. He was over the house a few times and was always polite and easy to get along with. He had a unique personality and will be missed by all who knew him. No words can truly express the sadness we are all feeling now. God bless you Dylan till we are all together again.

I knew Dylan through my son's group home. He always talked about how he loved my garden of roses and that his grandmother loved roses too. My prayers are with all of Dylan's family and I know my son will miss him too. Thanks Dylan for shining your light on my son.
