Elena Distefano Obituary

DiSTEFANO, ELENA (FALLONE) "LEE", 84, of Johnston, passed away Monday. She was the wife of the late Peter A. DiStefano. They had been married for 65 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Victoria (Marsella) Fallone. Elena was completely devoted to her husband and daughters, and was a loving grandmother. She leaves two daughters, Mary Montaquila and Vicki Iacobo and her husband Bruno, of Johnston; a brother, John Fallone of Providence; a sister, Edith Martini of Providence; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Guido, Joseph and Ida Fallone. Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:45 AM from the A. TARRO & SONS Funeral Home, 425 Broadway, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
