Eric Mutter Obituary
They were married fourteen years. Mr. Mutter was born in Pawtucket the son of Associate Justice of RI Family Court, Judge John A. Mutter of Pawtucket and the late Barbara L. (Menagh) Mutter.
Mr. Mutter was a 1977 graduate of St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket and attended Roger Williams University. He was a retired member of the Pawtucket Fire Department and an Emergency Medical Technician.
Besides his wife and father he leaves two brothers, Christopher S. Mutter of Coventry and Kurt F. Mutter of Pawtucket, two sisters, Kristina Martel of Pawtucket and Lisa A. Gendreau of Cranston, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Mutter was the brother of the late Heidi J. Mutter.
Funeral from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL Home 68 Broadway Pawtucket Saturday at 9:00am. Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of St. Leo the Great, Central Ave. Pawtucket at 10:00am. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Calling hours Friday 4-7pm in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation of RI, 209 Cottage St. Pawtucket RI 02860in Eric's memory. For condolences and guest book visit manningheffern.com

Sorry to hear about the death of Eric. I remember sitting next to him at the Providence Civic Center in section 124 watching our beloved Friars play basketball. May God bless you during this difficult time.

To Tina and her family,
No words can take away your pain. No cards can say exactly what we want to say. But knowing that your friends love you and are here for you speaks greater then anything. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sorry for Karole's loss. I'm sorry for your family's loss. But most importantingly I'm sorry you and your family have to share in the pain of loosing a loved one again. You are all in my heart and prayers always.
Tina you know I'm a phone call away. Hell I just drop by when you say "no, I'm okay. No you don't have to." I know. I've been there. You know that. You've been there for me.....god surrounds us with those who not only know what the pain is like, the struggle is like but the need to know that there are many whom would stop, listen, hug, carry and just be a silent friend sitting there waiting for you to be ready to speak.

Karole Jean, I take this opportunity to tell you what a wonderful wife you were to my brother Eric. Your kindnesses and patience were your gift to him. My mother could not have hand picked anyone more suited for her son. In the tough days ahead please remember, "My brother Eric loved you more than words can express and your love for him is what kept him going for those 3 long weeks. I was there and you were strong, sensitive and very loving. I will always be thankful that Eric had you in his life. Eric may have lived only 48 years but you loved him enough for an eternity. Remember, "To love another person like this, is to see the face of God".

Eric was my Sir Galahad when I got into a bad spot as a youngster...I have always felt a bond with him, and never found him other than sweet, sensitive, and respectful. My heart joins many others in mourning.
