Eva Poulin Obituary
Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Sabin and Josephine (Lambert) Fontaine, she lived in Riverside for 36 years previously residing in Pawtucket.
Mrs. Poulin was a skien winder for the Providence Braid Co., Pawtucket for 20 years before retiring in 1968.
Eva was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She was a volunteer at East Providence R.S.V.P. for 18 years. She enjoyed knitting and donating her work for the newborn hats at Women & Infants Hospital.
She is survived by a daughter; Marie P. Hassan of Barrington, two grandchildren; Robert Hassan and his wife Mary of Barrington and Marianne Hassan of Durham, NC and two great grandchildren; Sarah Risley of Durham, NC and Jaime Hassan of Barrington. She was the last survivor of seven siblings.
Her funeral will beheld on Saturday, September 1, 2007 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNER AL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 9 am. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Calling hours are Friday 6-8 pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Eva's memory to Residents Sunshine Fund- Waterview Villa, 1275 South Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914 would be deeply appreciated.
