GEORGE MAUK Obituary

MAUK, GEORGE F. JR., 64, of Quaker Lane, died unexpectedly Christmas morning at home. He was the beloved husband of Marleen M. Annulli. They were married for almost eleven years.

Born in Providence, a son of Rose (Pasquazzi) Mauk, of Deltona, Florida, and the late George F. Mauk, Sr., he lived in Warwick for the past thirteen years, previously living in West Warwick.

George was the Operations Manager for the G.M. Gannon Company for over thirty years, retiring in 2007. During retirement, he enjoyed golfing, and traveling with his wife Marleen.

He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Forrestal, and was a member of the Fenner Hill Golf Club.

Beside his wife, and mother, he leaves two sons, Jeffrey M. Mauk and his wife Kristen, Gregory A. Mauk and his wife Jennifer; a daughter, Kimberly B. Mauk; a sister, Joyce Alarie and her husband Raymond; four grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Tyler and Gillian; and a nephew, Mark Alarie.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial, with military honors, will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Tuesday, 5-8 pm. To my daddy, I love you more than words can say I will miss your voice calling me just to tell me you love me.
