To the family:
We loved mother simmons, I will never forget when I 1st moved out to live on my own, and mother simmons came over my house to pray for me. I had left the lord at that time, But I will never forget her praying that I would come back to the lord. I thank god today I am living for him, I've been married, had 2 children and one grand child so I blessed god for her prayers. So my prayer is that the lord comforts the family durning this time. You can rest assure that Mother was a servant of the Lord. The lord never makes a mistake she has completed her course. thru many tears, she kept on fighting until the end.

Dear Sister Simmons,

I know you are resting with the Lord now. I remember when I was in high school and I traveled around the South Providence and West End Community visiting the Pentecostal Churches. It was me, Shelia Mitchell, The Bright Girls, and all the other christian young ladies who would hang out together when visiting each others churches. You were there working for the Lord and encouraging us christian young ladies to keep living for the Lord. I will never forget all the good times in the Lord we all shared. We would go to the neighboring churches and we had church! The first of this year in 2008, I was a substitute teaching at Robert Bailey School. It was good to see you again over to Elder Witcha's Church with Sister Martha in the 12 noon prayer meetings, and still you were a blessing and an encouragement. I know I will see you again some day. I will never forget all you did to help the youth of the God's Work!

Love, Sister Gail Snead
