James Lima Obituary

LIMA, JAMES A., 63, of Sprague St., Greenville, passed away Wednesday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in West Warwick, a son of Anthony R. Lima and the late Hope F. (Bennett) Lima- Guilmette. He resided in North Providence before moving to Greenville in 2006. Jim was a postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years before retiring in 2004. He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran, a member of Club Frontenac and enjoyed spending time with his grand-children. He leaves two daughters, Melissa B. McLoughlin and Michelle L. Mason both of Smithfield; a step-sister, Bertha Majeske in Arizona and six grandchildren, Jack-Lynn McLoughlin, Joshua, Zachary, Tyler, Steven and Harley Mason. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick. Interment will follow with military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 in his memory would be appreciated.
