Jiu Liang Obituary

LIANG, JIU DE, 80, of Cranston, died Saturday January 5, 2008 at RI Hospital.

Born in the Republic of Singapore, he came to the United States in 1986 with his wife Li Ai Liang and settled in Providence where he lived until moving to Cranston. Mr. Liang was a chef at the Mai Tai Restaurant in Coventry for 7 years until retiring in 1991. While in China he was a farmer.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons; Xi Liang of Providence, and David Liang of Cranston, three daughters; Qi Ling Chan, Yan Ling Lu and Pei Ling Xu all of Cranston, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Funeral Wednesday at 11:00am from the Stapleton-Barry-Holdredge Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. Friends may visit from 9:00 to 11:00am. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visit cranstonfuneral.com for directions.

Dear Family of Mr. Liang:

The entire staff of Park View Nursing Home wish to extend their deepest sympathy to each of you on the passing of your husband, dad and grandfather.

We have seen many of you through the past seven years and have admired your dedication to this gentle man.
