John Brandao

BRANDAO, JOHN MEDEIROS, 90 of Milford Street passed away on May 5th. He was the husband of the late DeoLinda (Borges) Brandao his wife of 57 years. Born in Povacao, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Augustine Medeiros and Maria Trindade (Medeiros) Brandao. He is survived by his son John Brando and his wife Lee Ann; grandsons Christopher Brando and John Anthony Brando and his wife Valerie; great grandchildren Adrian, Isabella and Abigail Brando; sister Maria C. Guadalupe and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Antonio, Louis and Joseph Brandao, Efrosina Medeiros and Zelia Rodrigues. He attended school in Portugal and was employed by Converse for 30 years before retiring. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10th; 10 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High St. with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth Church 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol.
