John Cotta Obituary
85, a retired employee for the former Narragansett Brewery, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the West Shore Health Center, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Theresa (Bevilacqua) Cotta for 61 years and a son of the late Joseph E. and Helen (Griffin) Cotta; loving father of Ret. MSG US Air Force Stephen W. Cotta (Nariko), Helene T. LaPoint (Kevin), Robert J. Cotta and Michael J. Cotta (Macerbel); also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandsons. He was the brother of the late Joseph Cotta and Mary Wallibillich. Mr. Cotta was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 10 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in the R.I. Veterans' Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 pm. Information and condolences, visit
