John Grivers Obituary
Born in Cumberland he was a son of the late Peter and Josephine (Kornas) Grzywacz-Grivers. He lived in Central Falls most of his life.
Before retiring he was employed as an Electrician for the Nyman Mfg. Co. of East Providence. He was a WW II Navy Veteran serving as a Seaman First Class. He was a member of the Fierlit-Korzen A.L. Post 79 of Central Falls.
He leaves 3 loving sons John M. Grivers and his wife Alice of Cumberland, Michael F. Grivers and his wife Mary of Smithfield and Mark A. Grivers and his wife Margaret of Lincoln. He also leaves 4 devoted grandchildren Erin, Jeffrey, Morgan and Evan Grivers, 1 sister Mary Dube of Rumford, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Stella Laptik, Julia Maxwell, Stanley, William, Joseph and Edward Grivers.
A funeral with Military Honors will be held Monday September 22, 2008 at 8:30 A.M. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS SUNDAY FROM 2:00 P.M. TO 5:00 P.M. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Cumberland.

In My Pocket
