John McKone Obituary
63, a three-time US Blind Gold Assoc. National Champion and a life-long resident of Warwick peacefully passed away at home on February 16. Michael was the beloved son of Mary Petrunt McKone and the late Raymond Paul McKone.
Michael is survived by his sisters, Cathy McKone Wicks and Patricia McKone Pariseault and her husband, Marc; and his brother, Tim McKone and his wife Lisa Sternschuss. Michael also leaves his beloved nieces and nephews, Stephanie Wicks Rosa (Andy), Alison Wicks (Sean Peters), Dylan, and Bradley Wicks; Lindsey McKone and the late, great Will McKone. Michael also leaves his great nephew Simon Rosa, and great nieces Scarlett and Autumn Rosa.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 9:30 AM and will be live streamed at www.stkevin-stbenedict.org. A gathering in celebration of Michael's life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Michael requested donations in memory of Michael's little bud, Will McKone, to The Neurological Research Foundation, Attn. Dr. David Baskin, 1656 North Blvd., Houston TX 77006.
