John Messore Obituary
64, of Deltona, FL, formerly of East Greenwich, passed away Christmas Eve surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Providence, John was a son of Theresa (Giarrusso) Messore of Providence and the late John Messore.
John and his former wife were the owners of the former Carvel Ice Cream in Wakefield and several other small businesses.
Besides his mother, John leaves a daughter, Giana Messore, Esq. of AR; a son, Benjamin Messore of GA; his former wife and friend, Paula Messore of North Providence; and a sister, Linda DiLibero of Cranston.
Visitation will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM in Holy Ghost Church, Atwells Ave., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will be private. Flowers are omitted. Arrangements by A. TARRO & SONS Funeral Home.

I'll never forget this kind-hearted man. Long ago, when I was down and out, he sensed it without any prompting on my part, and gave me a free ice cream cake at his Carvel store in Wakefield, RI. I was greatly touched by this gracious act of kindness. So sorry he passed so soon.
