Joe was only with us on a temporary basis. He was, my thoughts, an Angel of the Lord. This new assignment will be welcomed by the recipient that will enjoy this beautiful angel. Reggie Sauger golf buddy

Joe & I were golf buddies in Fort Myers. One day, Claire dropped him off at the Fort Myers CC to play golf with me. Instead of playing golf we decided to go and enjoy "Pine Island". We had to much to drink bu has to prove to Claire & others that we played golf. We faked a score card from Lochmoor and went to the Veranda at cocktail hour with the score card to prove we played golf. Jack Bailey accused us of drinking all day and never playing golf. Everyone thought it was hilarious except Claire. Joe, I know where you are so when it is my turn save me a "tee time". Reggie Sauger "friend"

A little bit of a cherished memory dies with the passing of each Asquino.

As I am out of town and will not be able to attend the services for Joe, I wish to extend to the entire Asquino family my sincerest condolences. We all have such fond memories of the restaurant and the close knit family who ran it welcoming everyone as they entered.

Joe was a great man who will forever be remembered by those whose life he touched. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

oI grew up with at least a weekly visit to Asquino's. My father Dr. O'Brien was a great fan of both the family and the restaurant. My prayers and sympathy are with you.

My family and I are very sorry for your loss. We were patrons to the Asquino's and I myself a former employee.

Joe was a great friend of my father, Frank McGinn. In the late 60's & 70's I think my father spent more time at Asquino's than he did at F.D McGINN, INC. Joe will be missed.
