Dear Family,
My husband John, my children Erina and Gallagher, Mom and I were very sad to hear that Josephine had passed away.
We didn't get to see eachother often, but when we did, you knew there would always be great food and festivities.
She visited us several times here in Tallahassee, and I made several visits to R.I. She seemed to bring my Italian heritage alive again, which I always enjoyed, since it has a tendancy to get burried in north Florida where I live.
My Mom talked about her fond memories of playing with Josephine, the first of many grandchildren, when she was a baby and sitting by her bedside when she had rheumatic fever.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her husband, children and family.
Love,
John and Eva Daigle, Erina and Gallagher Dempsey, and Yolanda Crlenjak

All of the memories I have of Cousin Jo are good ones. Although I haven't spent much time in RI I do often think of the time that my mother Eva, my sister Erina, and I spent with Cousin Jo, as a guset at her home. She was a very generous woman and took great care of us. She took us all around, down to the rocky beaches, and to the docks where I, a 10 year old boy at the time stood aside to learn the art of negotiating a large order of lobsters to feed the whole family that night. I am extremely sad to hear of her passing. Our family will miss Josephine.
Much Love,
Gallagher M. Dempsey
