Mr Wright, Steve, Jeff & Tom & the extended Wright family members,
Wanted to let you know how sad I was to hear about Kevin and that my thoughts are with you. Amazing how quickly the memories from the neighborhood came back and the first time I heard Kevin play drums at your house and thought, "Wow - somebody I know can play like that!" I hope the pain is quickly replaced by smiles when you think of Kevin.

Dear Allan and family,
I was so sorry to read of the passing of Kevin. While I knew him as a young boy, I am saddened to say that I had lost contact with the Wright family for many years. I live in St. Marys, GA now and continue to receive the Providence Journal where I read the notice on Kevin. I recall the words of cousin Father Frank who uttered the following at my sister's funeral Mass, "Weeping may endure for a night; but joy cometh in the morning." My sincere condolences to you and your family for the loss of Kevin. It was a pleasure working at the same jobs with Kevin over the years. Along with being a talented carpenter he had the calmest demeanor that put even me into a more relaxed person on the job. He will be greatly missed by all trades people who ever knew Kevin. Kevin may you swing a big hammer in the house of God.

Kevin was my best friend through our adolescent years. Pop Warner Football, Campouts, Little League. Remember the Fort in the Big Field Jeff & Billy? And though we lost touch through the years, we could alway pick right back up where we left off when our paths crossed. The Bible talks about a friend who is closer than a brother. That was Kevin. I will always cheerish the memories of Kev, his brothers Steve, Jeff & Tommy, Mr & Mrs Wright, the Hunts, Fayans, Douglas's & Boyles and Cambells Field. We were all blessed with each other and by Kev. Prayers and love to Mr Wright, Steve, Jeff, Tommy & others in the Wright Family. May God's love and comfort be with you all in this time.

I still have a hard time believing this! Kevin was a great guy from a great family. He was just one of those guys who everyone has good memories of...my deepest sympathies go to Mr. Wright, Steve, Jeff and Tom and all of their extended families. He will be sorely missed.

A silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why Kevin left this earth so soon, or why he left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we will remember not just that Kev died, but that he lived. Kevin was the most dedicated and positive focused individual that I've been privileged to have spent time with. He greatly loved being in our band and his time with us, as I enjoyed the time (though very brief) to have mutually shared the personal experience and bond of playing music together.
I also enjoyed the many sports and political conversations I had with him. He was a very kind hearted individual and you could always count on him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I will always have fond memories of our "manhunt games" and football games at Cambell's field. So many great times with Kevin and all our friends in the Hampden Meadows neighborhood.
