Khonarik Chakmakian

CHAKMAKIAN, KHONARIK (KLIAN), 88, of Cranston, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2011 at Cedar Crest Nursing Center in Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Chakmakian. Born in Greece, she was the daughter of the late Haikaser and Vergine (Tavoukdjian) Klian. Mrs. Chakmakian worked in the jewelry industry for many years before retiring. She was the devoted mother of Ruben Chakmakian and his wife Shake of Cranston; loving grandmother of Susan and Samuel Chakmakian; and dear sister of the late Biouzand and Karo Klian. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in Armenian Euphrates Evangelical Church, Providence, followed by interment at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
