Louis Tullie Obituary

TULLIE, LOUIS ANTHONY
84, passed away February 16, 2021.
He was the son of the late Cosmo and Angela (Colavecchio) Tullie; beloved husband of Marie E. (Palombo) Tullie; devoted father of Michael Tullie and his companion Phillip Dixon, Kevin Tullie and his wife Joan and Dana M. Peckham and her husband Randy; cherished grandfather of Meghann and Emily Tullie and Abigael and Lucas Peckham; brother of the late Teresa Dean and Leonore Lindsay; uncle of Frances, Angela, Terri, Gayle, Mary Lou, Marianne, Cheryl, and the late Donna.
Lou was a devoted family guy. "Papalou", as he was affectionately known, loved his family and always had a smile for everyone. He and his wife of 62 years faithfully attended all of their grandchildren's sporting events and extra-curricular activities. His wit and infectious laughter will be sorely missed.
Lou was a long-time employee of Tasca-Lincoln Mercury in Seekonk, MA. He drove to all 48 continental United States in that capacity.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday at 10:30 AM in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Edward Food & Wellness Center, 1001 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI 02904. pontarellimarinofunerals.com

I am so sorry to hear of Lou passing away. The last time I saw Lou and his wife, was when the Pandemic began at the nursing home, in North Providence. Lou was a pleasure to work with, when he was the driver at Pocasset Bay Manor. He was a true gentleman, and enjoyed seeing him at Tasca as well. It was a pleasure to know Lou, what a fine man he was!

I am so sorry for your loss, I will always remember Papa-Lou with such joy and happiness; sitting with him and listening to him tell stories and laughing with him at family events and parties! And of course his driving me and my students to NYC. He was such a kind, wonderful soul who was so wonderful to me throughout the decades. I will miss him tremendously!
