Marco Marchetti Obituary

MARCHETTI, MARCO M., 83, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Hopkins Manor. He was the beloved husband of Lucy A. (D'Andrea) Marchetti and the devoted father of the late Lynn A. Marchetti, Esq. Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Rose (Carnavale) Marchetti. Marco worked for Sherman Screw Company of Providence and was a ham radio hobbyist. Besides his wife of 51 years, he is survived by his two sisters, Jennie Bottela and Mary Rotondo; a brother, Rocco Marchetti and several nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday morning, January 31, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. Lucy, I am so sorry to hear about Mike. His suffering is now over and he is with his precious little girl Lynn. As you know I cannot make the services for Mike as I just got out of the hosp. today. God bless you and keep all the great memories you have of Mike close to your heart Rose Mary & Vinnie Martino
