I am so, so sorry for your family. I remember Matt from Jamestown Elementary and Middle school, particularly the Alton Jones 6th Grade trip when I was in his day group. He was such a sweet, kindhearted person.

Matt and I were in Mr. Foley's homeroom together for 4 years at NKHS. At URI I would often pass him walking with a smile on his face and chatting with friends. Though words do not begin to express the pain of losing such a kindhearted and genuine person, I extend my thoughts and energy to your family in this time of sorrow.

I am so very sorry for your family's loss. I grew up with Matt on Jamestown and went to school with him all through high school. Although we weren't close, I remember him well, and he was an incredibly friendly person! He will be dearly missed by those close to him and I offer my condolences.

Time has taken me from you,
Although not very far.
I'll be watching through the sunshine
And through the brightest star.
I'll be watching all of you,
From the heavens up above.
So take good care of each other
And carry all my love.
If you're ever wondering
If I'm there, here's where you can start.
Take a look inside yourself
Deep within your heart.
I'll always be your baby,
Your child (grandchild), your best friend.
So anytime you need me,
Close your eyes I'm back again.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
With Sympathy,
Betsy and Larry Riccitelli
