Michael Villella Obituary
Michael Villella, Jr., 72, of Freedom Court, Johnston passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 7, 2018. He was the beloved husband to Patricia "Patty" (Kelly) Villella.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael and Florence (DeLalla) Villella.
Mike worked for Monarch Industries as a Cabinet Maker for 30 years and he later co-owned and operated Mike Villella Hardwood Floors. He was a member of the Local 94 for 50 years. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed traveling with his wife Patty.
He was the loving father of Michael Villella III and his wife Lisa, Craig Villella and his fiancé Lisa Jacques, Chad Villella and his wife Theresa (Tracy), Michele Hutchinson and her husband Gerald, Renee Godinho and her husband Paulo and the late Keith Brian Villella; brother of Bruce Villella and his wife Donna; grandfather of Tori (Partner, Casey), Michael IV, Vanessa, Theresa, Vincenzo, Miranda, Raymond King and Emily and Sara DiPrete and great grandfather of Bryce and Asher James.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 am from the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Graveside burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION THURSDAY 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike's memory to the Butler Hospital Foundation, Attn: Senior Specialty Program, 345 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, RI 02906. Cathy and I have miss you and Pat on our vacation rides, our get togethers and the great times we have had. I miss our weekly BS session at the Harley shop on Saturday morning and the Daytona Bike Week trips. Rest in peace, my friend. I know you'll be riding like you stole it.

Patty and family,
Mike was such a great man and friend to my father and family. Mike and my dad had so many memorable and enjoyable moments working together at Monarch industries for 30 years. The fishing trips with Mike, his boys and my family were so much fun. I admired Mike most for being such a great husband and father and he always put family first. May you rest in peace. Mike, God bless you and your family!
