Milton Mannix

MANNIX, MILTON W. 65, died peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. He was the beloved husband of Antonietta (Cozzolino) Mannix for 38 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Milton W. and Madeline (Burgess) Mannix. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island in 1976, he was employed as a Sales Manager by Signtronix of Torrance, CA for 30 years. Milton was an accomplished photographer and an internationally published poet and author. He enjoyed travel, his harmonicas, playing golf, riding his motorcycle, spending time with family and friends, and doing things his way. He will forever be remembered as a devoted father and best friend to Melina J. Trudeau of Blackstone, MA and Francesca M. Mannix of New York, NY. He will be greatly missed by son in-law Chad Trudeau and was the loving grandfather to Keegan R. Trudeau and brother to Mary Louise Aylesworth of Chicago, IL. He was predeceased by his daughter Juliana E. Mannix, brother Michael T. Mannix, and sister Jane E. Mannix. He is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Saturday, January 24, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
