February 18, 2009

Dear Dennis, Derek, David and Lisa,

I learned of Norma's death the night following the funeral; otherwise, I would have been present to memorialize her life.
We know she did not want to leave this earth with so much of life still here to enjoy.
You can expect the days, months and years ahead will be difficult and some times are worse than others. Please try to remember, she would want you to celebrate her life and keep her memory alive, although it is difficult to avoid the sadness and untimely loss of her life.
She will always be remembered and missed in many ways. Norma was full of life; she was so proud and joyful of her family and in her many roles: a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, pet lover, friend, businessowner and the many other roles she has been to those who knew her.
Learning to live without her will be a challenge which I wish you did not have to cope with at this time. I will pray for all of you and know her spirit will watch over all her loved ones until you meet again. May God bless you all. Please contact me if I can be of help to your family.

DEAR DENNIS, LISA, DEREK, AND DAVID,

ANN AND I REGRET THE NEWS OF NORMA’S PASSING, AND WE OFFER OUR
SYMPATHY AND PRAYERS.

IN OUR HEARTS, WE CAN FEEL THE LOSS OF NORMA, BUT REMEMBER WE ALSO KNOW THAT THERE WILL BE A UNION IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN SOON, SINCE OUR TIME HERE ON EARTH IS A TRANSIENT TO OUR ETERNAL REWARD.

LISA, DEREK, AND DAVID, TRY TO REMEMBER THE MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST IN TIME AND ALLOW THE PASSING OF YOUR MOM, TO BE JUST ANOTHER STEP TOWARDS THE ETERNAL REUNION.

NOW NORMA IS IN A BETTER PLACE, AWAY FROM THE TOIL AND TORMENTS OF THIS WORLD, AND WITH THE CREATOR.

I AM SURE SHE WILL LOOK DOWN FROM TIME TO TIME, AND CONSOLE YOU, WITH THAT INNER FEELING THAT SHE IS THERE, BE BRAVE AND REMEMBER THE GOOD DAYS THAT YOU HAD TOGETHER

WE APOLOGIZE FOR NOT BEING WITH YOU AT THIS TIME, SINCE WE ARE IN FLORIDA, BUT THIS LAST CELEBRATION WILL BE THE CELEBRATION OF NORMA’S LIFE.

ALWAYS IN OUR PRAYS

Dear Dennis & Family,

As far back as I can remember, my father has known your family. I remember coming over, as a little kid, and Norma's smile brightening up the room. Back in the day, when I occasionally delivered mail to the office, I always hoped she was there, just so I could visit with her. Her stories always made me laugh.

Even though I haven't see you all in a long time, the news of her passing saddened me. She was one of the most nicest, genuine people I ever had the pleasure of having in my life.

I am so sorry for your loss.

To the Cicchitelli,
We were shocked to hear about Norma. We were just saying the other day that we hadn´t seen her lately. Norma was really really nice person and we always talked and laughed when she came in our store because we looked alot alike and wore our hair the same and we dressed alike because we loved Chico´s. She would always talk about her family and you could see how much she loved you all and how proud she was of her family. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time and know that her spirit will always be with you all.

I am so saddened and heartbroken to read about Norma. I never had the chance her personally. I always looked forward to Tuesday at 2:00 to call her for payroll and chit chat like an old friend would do.Norma spoke very fondly of her family and bragged so much about her wonderful grandchildren and of course I heard all about Casey. I always thought of Norma as a friend. She was and always will be so kind, caring and so thoughtful. She always had a nice thing to say. I feel so lucky to have spoken to an angel on earth. Norma, you will never be forgotten. I will always keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. May you be at peace.

Dear Dennis and Children,

Mere words cannot adequately express my sorrow at your loss.

I am reminded of the words of the song, Candle in the Wind by Elton John, sung following the tragic death of Princess Diana, some of those words reverberate in my mind because I know that Norma too, was an incredible woman, wife, mother and friend who possessed a remarkable force for good in all of our lives. The loss of her and her goodness, kindness and love will have a profound and lasting impact on us all until the end of our days.

Truly, Norma was a "Candle in the Wind" whose flame died out too soon -- much too soon -- and we will miss its glow, its warmth and its guiding light.

Please accept my most sincere and heartfelt condolences on this tragic and heartbreaking loss.
