NORMAN DESROCHERS Obituary
Born in Pawtucket he was the son of the late Severin and Marie A. (Gaudreau) Desrochers. Mr. Desrochers was a Sheet Metal Worker working for RI Ventilating Co. in Lincoln for many years before retiring. He is survived by three sons, Normand Desrochers of FL, Jake Donald Desrochers of Pawtucket and Leo Desrochers of South Attleboro; a daughter Deborah Ann Ryan of Cumberland; a brother Rheal Desrochers of MO; a sister Jackie Beauchene of Cumberland; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Richard Desrochers.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the COSTIGAN- O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Consolation Church, Webster Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association National Headquarters, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Suite 800. Washington, DC 20004. I'd like to offer sympathy and condolences.
'Uncle Norman' was a huge part of our lives growing up and I am grateful that he was part of it. He was kind and generous and always good natured. His family gifts to the Beauchenes over the years, from the ping-pong table, to the tobogan, to his general presence and skill at the card table were much appreciated and long remembered. He had a positive effect on our lives .... I will miss him.
