Olindo Pagano

PAGANO, OLINDO, 91, died Monday, December 5, 2011. He was the husband of the late Mary (Rossi) Pagano to whom he was married for 52 years. Born in Salerno, Italy a son of the late Raffaele and Teresa (Califano) Pagano, he immigrated to Providence in 1954. He has resided in Warwick for 10 years and wintered in Boca Raton, FL for many years. Mr. Pagano was a toolmaker and jewelry designer with Anson Jewelers for 37 years. He had served in the Italian Army during WWII and was a prisoner of war for 5 years in Africa. He was the beloved father of Ralph A. Pagano and his wife, Diane M. (Bruscini) Pagano; uncle of Frances Stalhbush and her husband, Robert, and is predeceased by his siblings in Italy, Mary, Giovanni, Angelina and Teresa. His funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane.
