PATRICK BARBOSA Obituary
Patrick was a 2007 graduate of West Warwick High School and currently attending CCRI in Warwick. He worked as a toy associate at Walmart and loved computers, playing video games and music, especially from his music icon, the late Michael Jackson. Besides his parents, he leaves three brothers, Steve Barbosa of Coventry and Frederick and Kevin Barbosa, both of West Warwick, his sister, Elsa Barbosa of Providence, his girlfriend, Monica Marciano, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am from the R. A. IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., Coventry with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS. John & James Parish at the Church of St. John the Baptist, West Warwick. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Monday 5-8 pm. www.iannottifh.com

To the Barbosa family my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Losing Patrick was a great loss to everyone family ,friends even society . He was a honest guy going somewhere in life . I am truly sorry we didn't get to see him florish into what I know he could be . I wish I had seen him more since high school . This was so unexpected and heart breaking to hear . To patrick you will never be forgotten you were a stand up guy whom nobody can deny that . may you rest in peace my friend .

It's tragic when a parent must bury their child, and tragic isn't even a word strong enough for what you may be feeling right now.
My prayers go out to you, please find your strength in Him and your courage and most of all peace.
Patrick was one of the sweetest guys I knew, always smiling and always willing to help with a humble heart and kind words.
Remember him always in your heart and don't be afraid to talk of him with each other. It always helps to laugh at the good times.
My heart goes out to you as well as my prayers!!

My son and I both had the pleasure of working with Patrick at Walmart. He was very helpful when you needed something. He always had a smile on his face every time I said hi to him. My son and him use to bust each other up. You are going to be really missed.

Patrick, you were seriously the nicest, coolest, chillest person on the planet. You don't belong in any other category but your own when it comes to truely unique individuals. You were never sideways with anybody and always had good things to say about those around you. I don't think anybody truely appreciated that until now and it hurts to see someone like you go.
All of this comes as a shock to everyone around that knew you. Someone as kind and easy going as you doesn't deserve this. This is usually where I make the "Good Die Young" comment, but you were beyond good. Good is a generic way to tell someone they're nice. You took nice to a whole new level and I can even say that you're a role model to those around you. That's including me.
I'm going to miss you Patrick, and even though we didn't hang out too much the passed few years, I still considered us close friends. I want you to find the "UNC" up in Heaven and save me a spot. I promise not to hang out with the girls all the time and if you want, I'll even suffer though some Daft Punk. I'll admit it, that song was catchy :P
