Peter Bacon Obituary
60, formerly of Providence, passed away on July 21, 2021. Beloved son of Barbara F. Bacon and the late Thomas Fletcher Bacon. Beloved father of Fletcher and Simon Bacon of Ceres, CA.
Peter attended Holy Name School, Hope High School, and received a degree in Culinary Arts from R.I. School of Design. He worked in several restaurants in Rhode Island and Lake Tahoe, CA, before moving to Ceres, CA and working in the almond farming industry. Peter was a wonderful father, and loved the time spent with his sons. He enjoyed fishing, golf, hunting for mushrooms, and cheering on the Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots.
In addition to his mother and his sons, he leaves five siblings: Thomas E. Bacon of East Greenwich, Edward M. Bacon of Florida, Kathleen F. Bacon of California, Elizabeth A. Bacon of Warwick, and Patricia M. Bacon of Massachusetts.
A memorial event will be held at a future date.

I met Peter working for an Emergency Response job. He was on the Transportation team. We shared many laughs, music, and ideas. I will miss him dearly, and he will certainly live on forever in my memories. My condolences to the Bacon family.

My heart breaks for you all and I think I'm in shock as this can't really be happening . We and so many of us were friends on the East Side of Providence and those days were filled with fun and there were so many of us. It was a great neighborhood and Peter always had the biggest smile and the best sense of humor! Everybody knew who Peter B was! Over this past year and half we would instant message and I had no idea he was dealing with cancer. I send my deepest condolences and love to the family.
