PETER COLARUSSO Obituary
Mr. Colarusso was a local union plumber, member of Local #51, and a member of the Huntington's Disease Association Society.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his children; Peter V. Colarusso, Jr. and Lianna N. Colarusso, both of Cranston, and was the brother of John D. Colarusso of North Kingstown, RI and Julie A. Smith of Estero, Florida.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from 'WOODLAWN' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling Hours 4-8 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations in Peter's memory may be made to the Huntington's Disease Association 6 Boston Road, Suite 203 A Chelmsford MA 01824. It’s your princess Lianna.
Pj got married 2 days ago..isn’t that amazing? He dedicated a brief moment of silence for you and I gave the toast! Also, mom gave PJ that champagne you saved for him since the day he was born and his face lit with absolute astonishment. Good call on that, mom said!
Otherwise, we are taking things day by day here on earth without you. I know you’d be so upset that sports were cancelled due to COVID- so you’re not missing out on much! Lol
Soon we’ll meet again, but until then I carry you in my spirit throughout life.

Pete, my beautiful, wonderful brother-in-law. You have been a major part of our lives for 28 years, and you will continue to be so, for the rest of our lives. Thank you for all the love and amazing strength that you have given to your beautiful family, Lisa, P.J., and Lianna.
You always had a smile on your face, Pete, even until the very end! You will be missed every second, every minute, every hour, every day! I will especially miss your very sincere greeting hugs. Never have I come across anyone that gave them like you! So tight, so sincere, so loving!
With all of the hardships in your life, (and we know that you had more than I believe any individual could ever endure)...you still gave 100 percent of yourself to all around you. You truly were a very, very special person in our lives, and we were blessed to have you, and call you, "our family." You, by marriage, are my brother-in-law, but I loved and cared for you as my brother.
