Rhonda LoBuono Obituary
Rhonda A (Pertuso) LoBuono RN, age 58, of Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 25, 2021, with her cherished dog Charlie by her side. Rhonda was a long time Registered Nurse and, while she spent over 30+ years in various positions related to kidney dialysis, she spent the last 11+ years as the Home Training Coordinator with the Dialysis Center of East Providence.
Rhonda leaves behind her daughter, Stephanie Deady of North Providence; her brother Steven Pertuso and his wife Diane of Johnston; her sister Linda Zawislak of Coventry.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 4-7pm at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI. Please note that masks are required.

Rhonda trained me for peritoneal dialysis in 2010. After 12 years with a transplant, it began declining. I called East Providence to ask a question, and of course I asked for Rhonda. I was devastated to tears hearing of her untimely and tragic passing. Rhonda was one of the sweetest souls I'd ever met, so giving and caring as a human being, patient and understanding in her work. Now I'm back on HD, hoping to return to PD, but need to be reevaluated. In the meantime I'm still so saddened that if I can return to PD it won't be with Rhonda. She's so sorely missed. Worked with Rhonda for many year at the Kidney Center. She always had a smile on her and made you feel good. I did billing.
