To the family of Fr. Donnelly:
He was by far the most faithful priest I have ever known! Whether you are a conservative, moderate, or liberal Catholic you just have to realize that Fr. Donnelly was true to the Church and her teachings never swaying from the truth. He will remain in my heart til I die. My prayers are with the Donnelly family at this time.

Father Donnelly was my Religion teacher at LaSalle Academy. I always admired him for his crisp way of doing business and his ramrod straight stature. A good man as well as a good teacher. God Bless him and his travels from here!

Condolences to his family members. I had met him when I was a child when my Aunt had taken me with her to mass when he was at St. Clement's. When I first joined St. Mark's, he was the pastor, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out the pastor was someone that I already knew. He was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed as well as fondly remembered.

Dear Fr. Donnelly Family,

I recall serving as an acolyte at St. Paul's Church in Cranston while Fr. Donnelly was there. I would not to fail to visit with him when I made trips to RI after moving to CA. in 1975. I was ordained to the priesthood with the Conventual Franciscans in 1990, and he was very supportive. He was a good and kind man. God bless you all in your loss.
