Richard "Dick" was like a grandfather to us. We rented the 2nd floor of his home for several years and he greeted us every time we came home. He was always there to watch baseball and football games with us and he will be truly missed. He became a part of our family. Although we have moved away to Maryland, we have kept in touch over the years and we will miss him terribly. Kelly & Scott Medeiros

We are so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. He was the neighbor everyone wish they had. We've known Richard for 35 years and he always had a smile that seemed to never fade. We are disappointed that we had not learned of his passing earlier, and feel very sorry for his loss. He will be missed greatly by all his neighbors and especially the Correia family.

Dear Richard,
I was blessed to have you as a friend always. You were always there for me and knew me better than I knew myself. I will miss you and your smile. Joana

I've known Richard since 1968 when I worked at Coelho's Pharmacy as a Soda Jerk. He'd stop in every day and he was one of those people you were always happy to see and he made you feel as though he was glad to see you too. After all these years I'd often see him while out for a walk and he never changed, he still made you feel like he was happy to see you. I am glad to haved known him.

My condolences to all of Richard's family and friends. He was one of the most wonderful men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was a friend to the end. He made working at the Post Office fun for everyone he knew. He is loved and will be missed.
