Richard Kearns Obituary
Richard "Dick" Kearns, 80, of Bethlehem, N.H., passed away Aug. 15, 2021. Richard was the son of the late Francis J. and Alice (Valois) Kearns. He was the brother of the late John F. "Jack" Kearns. He is survived by two daughters.
Richard was a graduate of Georgetown University and Georgetown Law. He was a former Woonsocket Assistant City Solicitor and State Representative. Richard served as Chief Legal Counsel, Chief of Staff, and head of the Joint Committee on Legislative Services for the R.I. House of Representatives. In later years, he was the Director of Administration for the City of Woonsocket.
Private burial will be held at St. Paul's in Blackstone, Mass.

I didn't get to see Dick before heading south this fall. I mail a coin of Winston Churchill to him from Littleton Stamp and coin for him to have with his collection. I hope you girls got it. We talked of our relationship with Jesus and that you can know for sure you that you can spend eternity with him. See you in heaven Dick!

Very sad news. Richard and I were in school together from Grade One through High School. He was always friendly, ambitious and conversational. Always gave his best effort. RIP my friend, Richard Kearns.

To the family of RPK 1 my deepest sympathy. Dick and my Dad and Fred Corey worked closely to create the first police manual for WPD. I knew Dick for over 5 decades and admired him. Our family album contains many photos of him smiling. Top shelf in my book. Muriel, Marc and Guy Baillargeon
