Robert Cordisco

CORDISCO, RALPH J. 97, of Narragansett, RI, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at South County Hospital in Wakefield. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose M. (Romano) Cordisco. Born in West Haverstraw, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Johanna (Laiso) Cordisco. Mr. Cordisco was former director of athletics and head football coach for North Rockland School District in NY and was a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard during WW-II. He was the devoted father of Ralph R. Cordisco of Woodbine, MD and Robert J. Cordisco of Narragansett; loving grandfather of seven; loving great-grandfather of seven; and dear brother of the late Edward Cordisco. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, January 16th at 11 a.m. in the Redwood Mausoleum Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, followed by entombment with military honors.
