Pete AKA Peetu, was my father Roger Gagnon's cousin. His father Emile was Damase brother. My father looks just like Peetu and my father is one year younger. Pettu passed on my birthday. I will always remember that. My heartfelt sympathy to all the family.

Pete was a great barber and a very special person in many people's lives. Pete gave of himself many times and did so in a very humble way. There was a framed article from the Pawtucket Times hanging in his barber shop that only touched on what a great person he was...Cumberland (and Pawtucket) has lost one of it's great residents...may you rest in peace my friend.

To the family of "Pete the Barber". I have been going to his barber shop for years. Pete and I loved to discuss politics. He also convinced me to have my knees replaced, which was a good decision.

Dear Aunt Claire, Linda, Michael and family.
"For some moments in life, there are no words." I pray that you find peace and comfort at this time of profound loss.
I've always said that everyone one should have an "Uncle Pete" in their family.
I'm grateful to have had the original Uncle Pete. He was thoughtful and loving in many ways and there is no doubt he loved his family which is evidenced in all the things he did and he had a genuine faith. Sweet memories of a loving and caring man.

When I moved to this area 20 years ago I went into Petes Barber Shop as a total stranger but left feeling like an old friend. I enjoyed every visit to catch up on local news and hear about sports and his golf game. My condolences to the family. You have lost a wonderful man but God has gained an Angel. Rest in peace my friend.
