Robert Rodi Obituary
passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 25, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at Roger Williams Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith (Scaramuzzi) Rodi and his loving partner Madonna Della Grotta, her children and her grandchildren.
Born in Providence, he was the devoted son of the late Alfred and Lucia (Sionne) Rodi. Mr. Rodi was employed by the City of Providence before his retirement.
He leaves his loving children Robert Jr. and his wife Anne Marie of Cranston, Ronald of Warwick and Steven of Johnston; a sister Joyce Ianiello of Johnston and two brothers Richard Rodi of Cranston and Alfred Rodi of FL. He is also survived by his cherished 5 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Ann Rodi.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Bartholomew Church, 305 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Visiting hours will be Thursday
4-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Flowers are respectfully omitted.

We only met "Uncle Bob" twice - once in Florida and the next year in NH - but we loved him immediately! We enjoyed playing cards with him and were really looking forward to seeing him again this August in NH. Our best wishes to all his family. Sincerely, Brig & Patty Clark, Littleton, NH
