Roger Petrangelo Obituary
76, Coventry, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Julio and Jean (Boisclair) Petrangelo and brother to the late Ronald Petrangelo.Roger served in The R.I. National Guard. He was a member of the Teamster's Union and was employed by the Pepsi Cola Company for 45 years. Roger made many cherished friends during his time with Pepsi. After retirement, he enjoyed watching and attending the Red Sox or Patriot's games with his beloved family. Amongst these pleasures, he also enjoyed fishing as well as being a grandfather to his three grandchildren.He is survived by his loving daughters, Dana J. Sholes and her husband Steven of Warwick, Brenda A. Garvey and her husband Steven of West Warwick; three grandchildren, Lindsey, Ryan and Cameron , a sister-in-law Janice Petrangelo, and two nieces Lorna Thompson and Wendy Owens.His Funeral will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at 9:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS. John & James Parish, West Warwick. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations made to The American Cancer Society (cancer.org) would be appreciated. iannottifh.com

Dana and Brenda, My husband Ron and I were so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing . . . He was a neighbor for many, many years and we will miss him walking by and stopping in to say hello or waving as we drove by his home. We were so sorry we were unable to pay our final respects to your dad as we were out of state but please know he will be greatly missed. You, your families and Roger are all in our prayers and thoughts and have our sincere and deepest sympathies.

I had the pleasure of working with Roger (and his brother, Ron) at Pepsi for many years. He was always a gentleman and treated everyone with kindness and respect.
I'm sorry that I won't be able to attend his services. I send my deepest sympathy to his family and many friends.
