Rose Sweeting

SWEETING, ROSE (ABRAHAM) 94, of Eben Brown Lane died Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George Sweeting. A lifelong resident of Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Moses and Annie (Shabo) Abraham. Mrs. Sweeting was a jewelry worker for Monet Jewelers, Pawtucket before retiring. She was a member of St. Ephraim's Syrian Orthodox Church, Central Falls, where she was also a member of the Ladies Society of the Church. She is survived by her loving son, George G. Sweeting of Central Falls; her loving sister, Joan Abraham of North Providence; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Margaret Pennington, Ruth Jones, Josephine "Sue" McLaughlin, and George, Louis, James, Albert and Joseph Abraham. Her funeral will be held WEDNESDAY, MAY 22 at 9:45 A.M. from BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with services at 11 A.M. in St. Ephraim's Syrian Orthodox Church, 215 Washington Street, Central Falls.
