Salvatore DiSano Obituary

DiSANO, SALVATORE "ALFRED" 90, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Giuseppe and Giovannina (Campopiano) DiSano. Alfred worked as a cashier at Lincoln Greyhound. He is survived by his loving sister Evelyn DiSano of Cranston, and was the brother of the late Pasquale and Anthony DiSano. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be private and flowers are respectfully omitted. Visit nardolillo.com for online condolences.

My deepest sympathy to all the DiSano family. Alfred was a good friend of my father, Eddie Nota, and I remember him coming to our home often. In fact, he taught me to play gin rummy. Sad to see one of the last of that wonderful group has passed.
