Carole, Sam was one of my mentors. He , along with Dick david, convinced me to attend URI and get my BS in Chemistry. For this, I will be forever grateful. Sam was one of the most respected "old timers" at Hoechst and I will miss him dearly. My condolences to you and the family, Jim and Theresa Thompson.

Carole, Jay, and Nicole I wish my sincere condolences.
I worked for Sammy at Hoechst in the Pigment Department, and he was great to work for. He was also a one of the great arm wrestler ever. We are also Natick born and knew him and his entire family growing up.
He touched a lot of lives, in a positive way. Last time I was Sam was he was going into Kent Hospital we talked a little and about his Z and his Harley.
He will be sadly missed by many

My closest friend in high school and a close and dear friend for life. He and Carol met at my fathers home when we were in high school. Carol was my sisters close friend. Sam and his entire family were a positive influence on me and I loved them dearly. He is sadly missed.
