Sandra Lancellotti Obituary

LANCELLOTTI, SANDRA A. (RASO CONTI) 73, of North Providence, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Luca A. Lancellotti for 50 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Carmine Conti and the late Carmella (Raso) DeCristofaro. Sandra worked at Royal of America and most recently for Stop & Shop in Providence. She was an avid bowler and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her husband she is survived by her son, Luca A. Lancellotti, Jr. and his wife Denise; a daughter, Rhonda Montella and her husband Gerald; three brothers, Richard, John and Edward Raso; two sisters, Cheryl Gawda and Elsie Leonardo; and four grandchildren, Gianna and Taylor Montella and Bianca and Vincent Lancellotti. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham St., Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITATION MONDAY 4 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Sandra's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research, P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. maceroni.com

To Luca and Family please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Sandra, we have been in shark since my daughter called us Friday night and told us. As you know we go way back to our weddings, same day We were at St. Mary's Broadway and you were at Holy Ghost and same time 9 o'clock mass, then meeting the next night in a restaurant in Lake George on our way to Montreal for our Honey Moon. Celebrating our Honey Moon together. Great time ,fun and many laughter. Then year after year celebrating our Anniversaries together and other get together . Sophia and I wish we could be there with you to honor our great friend Sandra. You and Sandra will be in our prayers. Love you both. Sandra may you rest in peace. God Bless.
