Stella Gnys Obituary
Born in Poland she was a daughter of the late Charles and Apolonia (Blecharczyk) Stadnicki. She lived in Central Falls most of her life.
She was a member of the Orchard Lake Schools Ladies Auxiliary, Holy Rosary Society and the former Seniors of St. Joseph's Church of Central Falls.
She leaves 2 loving brothers Walter Stadnicki of Pawtucket and Henry Stad of Rumford, 6 devoted grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Lorayne A. Mc Glone, Edward L. Gnys Jr. and Charles W. Gnys, and the sister of the late Francis 'Frank' Stadnicki and Josephine F. Turrow.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 10:00 AM from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls at 11:00 AM. CALLING HOURS FRIDAY FROM 4:00 TO 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations in Mrs. Gny's Memory to St. Joseph's Church, Central Falls or the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886-2233.
